THE ALFAFUELS PROJECT AND SUSTEPS LAUNCHES A VIDEO EXPLAINING SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUEL INNOVATIONS

On December 16, the ALFAFUELS project and SUSTEPS launched a new video to explain their groundbreaking work in Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). The video highlights SUSTEPS’ method of converting microalgae biomass into advanced biofuels and ALFAFUELS’ innovative approach to transforming CO₂ into jet fuel via solar-driven processes. These complementary technologies aim to reduce aviation’s reliance on fossil fuels.

The video also promotes the SUSTAFUELS Cluster, a collaboration between NIAGARA, SusAlgaeFuel, ALGAESOL, CAPTUS, COCPIT, FUELGAE, ICARUS, NIAGARA, SUNFUSION and SusAlgaeFuel as well as ALFAFUELS and SUSTEPS, all focused on advancing renewable fuel solutions. By showcasing the shared goals and impacts of these initiatives, the video serves as a valuable educational tool for stakeholders and the wider public, reinforcing the importance of circular carbon solutions for a sustainable future.
