ALFAFUELS PRESENTED AT THE AOCS ANNUAL MEETING

On April 27-30, 2025, the ALFAFUELS project was presented at the American Oil Chemists’ Society (AOCS) Annual Meeting, one of the leading international conferences for research on fats, oils, proteins, and surfactants. Mads Bjørlie from DTU participated in the “General Processing” session, where he shared recent results on the extraction of lipophilic compounds using supercritical CO₂.

During his presentation, Mads Bjørlie introduced the objectives and ambitions of ALFAFUELS, highlighting its innovative approach to the sustainable production and valorisation of bio-based resources. The session provided an excellent platform to raise awareness of the project among both academic and industrial audiences.

The presentation was well-received and generated significant interest, leading to engaging discussions and questions from the audience. This event marked an important step in the dissemination of ALFAFUELS, strengthening its visibility within the international scientific community.
