ALFAFUELS AT THE ICCAS CONFERENCE

On March 5, the ALFAFUELS project was successfully disseminated during an online presentation at the Horizon Europe project Photo2Fuel workshop, held at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) in Beijing. Pia Lindberg from the University of Uppsala delivered a talk titled “Photobiology and Photochemistry for Renewable Fuels – A Combined Approach,” where she highlighted the innovative aspects of the ALFAFUELS project. The presentation emphasized the integration of photobiology and photochemistry to advance renewable fuel technologies.

The event provided an excellent platform for sharing the project’s progress with the scientific community, particularly with researchers involved in other EU-funded initiatives. Lindberg’s presentation attracted considerable interest, sparking discussions on potential collaborations and the future of renewable energy research. The workshop facilitated the exchange of ideas and best practices, helping to strengthen ties between European and international research efforts.

Through this dissemination effort, the ALFAFUELS project gained visibility among a wider audience, contributing to the ongoing dialogue on sustainable energy solutions. The presentation at the Photo2Fuel workshop underscored the project’s relevance and potential impact, reinforcing its role in the broader context of renewable energy research within Horizon Europe.
